RAG is totally focused on Bedfordview. Our reaction vehicles are always in the area, patrolling 24/7, so we get to incidents quickly. RAG is the only security solution fully dedicated to residents and businesses in Bedfordview Sectors 1 and 2. The RAG control centre is located in Bedfordview.

RAG reaction vehicles proactively patrol and monitor our streets 24 hours a day, every day. We respond to all community calls about suspicious activity. Because RAG is dedicated to our area, our reaction officers know our streets and our community so well that they notice when something is out of the ordinary.

Crime Investigation

World-Class Technology

RAG invests in the best technology, including our control centre software, cameras and tracking systems.

We have cameras in and around our vehicles which provide live footage as well as recordings. This helps us view any footage needed to investigate an incident or find a suspect.
We respond to activations from the Bedfordview Community Policing Forum (BCPF). This network of cameras in our area is a valuable crime fighting tool, enabling the BCPF and other security role players to identify stolen or cloned vehicles and to quickly find and apprehend suspects.
Our control centre software ensures that the RAG controller can immediately see which RAG vehicle is closest to any activation or signal received and automatically dispatch the reaction officer who can reach the scene the fastest.

Exceptional People

Our RAG reaction officers are exceptional. They are experienced, highly trained and have excellent knowledge of our area. All our reaction officers are registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) and paid above industry standards, which means that our RAG family is assured of the highest standard of security service. We polygraph RAG reaction officers and controllers regularly.

RAG overseas the performance of our service providers based on key performance indicators. Checks are done daily, and reports generated for oversight and management purposes. Reports are also specifically generated for enclosures so that Resident Associations have full control. Over the years, RAG has contracted different providers, leveraging the scale and power of our united RAG family, to get the absolute best security service, whilst maintaining control, flexibility and high service standards. This unique model between RAG, clients and security providers ensures that a layer of oversight, and performance monitoring exists which gives our clients an extra layer of protection and service.

Better Bedfordview

RAG strives to unite and uplift our area. Better Bedfordview was a concept developed and initiated by RAG as a crime prevention mechanism in 2019. It is our belief that a clean, well maintained, well organised suburb will attract less crime. In 2022, Better Bedfordview became an independent, focused non-profit organisation that is cleaning up Bedfordview and restoring roads, parks, pavements and public spaces, while creating jobs for unemployed people.
